Matthew Parker

Currently has a certification in Beginning Audio Engineering from The Recording Conservatory of Austin, and a diploma from MediaTech's Institute of Dallas for The Recording Arts Program. He also has certifications for Avid Pro Tools User and Avid Pro Tools Operator. Since 2003 Matthew has been mainly on the audio side but in 2015 had shifted to the film side of the industry. He soon worked on the film “Frackers”, an ASPCA commercial and also worked for The city of Richardson on a chamber of commerce corporate video.

Director
Thomas McKean

With a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a degree in filmmaking from MediaTech Institute, Thomas McKean has worked in the film industry since 2013. Thomas started as a director in Reno’s theater scene, working on pieces such as “WIT”, “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “The Miracle Worker”, and other dramatic pieces. While at the University of Nevada, Reno, Thomas wrote, produced, and directed the pilot season of the audio drama, “Elder Sign”. After moving to Dallas, Texas, Thomas continues to be the Showrunner of “Elder Sign”, while managing Elder Sign Studios LLC. In Dallas, he’s directed and produced commercials with the SPCA, The Elisa Project, North Texas Giving Day, and narrative pieces such as the award winning script “The Bridge”.

Marcela Ortiz

Started the film journey in Las Cruces, New Mexico attending Dona Ana Community College, then transferring back home to Dallas, Texas, finishing at Collin County Community College with a an Associate's degree. Currently attending MediaTech, graduating in 2017. As an editor at AVSD Productions, Marcela has also worked with the Richardson Chambers of Commerce. Other projects include Camera work with Mary Kay and Parkinson Voice Project.

Director of Photography From Sprinfield Illinois studied Film at Dallas Art Institute and MediaTech Institute has worked on several Music Videos and Documentaries for Glass Imagery, LLC and MDMA Films.

Keith Duncan
Executive Producer

Keith Randal Duncan is currently an instructor at MediaTech for the Digital Film Program 401 Script to Screen class. Keith has been in the moving image industry for over 30 years. He has worked as a producer, director, writer, videographer, assistant cameraman (Film), special effects make-up artist, effects coordinator and a grip and has also worked on several independent feature films.

He is a former two term board member of the Dallas Producers Association, a founding member of the Texas Motion Picture Alliance and a member of the American Film Institute.
